I had a lot of money from DJ'ing nyc and working at a nightclub. I bought a few synths and had programmed the D-70 in particular to the hilt with some great sounds. I used to go to Sam Ash every weekend at least every Saturday and basically I saw I could do what Sound Source was doing. A friend at the company I was working for helped me set up the technical process of burning the cards. The rest was a lot of clever research and a small loan and a lot of follow through. Pro-Rec has sold a ton of sounds in its career and really gas gotten endless top reviews.====

 Your "Orig Fantom" sounds are great!  Cool and inspirational. Glad i bought the whole package. I got a used Fa76 at a really good price-- it's not old to me.  I'm not too keen on new  keyboards anyway. I like older, overlooked ones better.

Excellent, awesome. We aren't planning any other Mp3 demos but they are all excellent. I hear everything from all customers and know which ones get great feedback, which is most of everything. There are only a few libraries of ours that aren't stellar, and we're pretty upfront about that. You're safe with any of them, we're the best at dance, synth, new age and film.

I am enjoying already, just loaded up the Dance ES sounds briefly audtioned the first 50 sounds, WOW !! best sound purchased to date without a doubt, well worth the wait and super value for money. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the 4 banks.
A lot of imagination has been put into the programming of these sounds, superb use of the arpeggio's etc, just what I needed for inspiration to write new songs.

I have the Synthsonic 1 CD-ROM, with samples of Pro-Rec’s triton/z1/roland JV-1080 sounds, and the Ultimate CD CD-ROM. Jonathan and his team at Pro-Rec are top shelf, and their customer service has always been excellent.

I would definitely recommend Pro-Rec’s four soundsets for the Motif, particularly since they use the Motif's waveforms. Plus they can teach you about motif's lfos, etc, so you can learn how such voices are created. Bottom line: go with Pro-Rec’s four new soundsets for Motif. Jonathan runs a great web site and company, so you cannot go wrong.

I've just received an email from Pro-Rec saying there's a brand new 'disco Station' bank for Motif - I've not tried it yet - but if the quality's as good as their recent releases, this should be brilliant. At this rate, i'll never need to use any of my other keyboards again!

I recently bought Dance patches for Motif from pro-rec and thought they were really good. After playing them I decided to try recording and ended up with an unusual sounding song The majority of the sounds are arppegiated and there is a variety of them. They include fat and powerful basses, unusual leads, pads and lots of musical effects.

The sounds are really great! I really liked most of them, and then there were probably about 20 of them that I just fell in love with (these were usually the ones that had a looooong release, whispy, with lots of dreamy pad textures. ahhhhh! Man!) I can't wait to put this to a song. I will say this - these pads were *exactly* what I needed. I'll let you know when our first song is done with your pads. Thanks so much, man. Well, I can say this with complete truth... My MOTIF feels completely changed. It feels so much more complete. My biggest concern of the MOTIF (after I surfed through them all) was the lack of voices for us New Age composers. I'm inspired by so many awesome voices from New Age Pads and Filmscape 5D. New Age Pads are soaring with so many great textures I am actually baffled which one to start with. I want to use them all! Filmscape opened up a new world of ideas that I would have never known existed! That's the best way I can describe it.

It's not longer a MOTIF, hehehe, it's more like a..mmm... ahh.. a Pro-TIF. Hehe Seriously though, you've rescued me out of disappointment. The MOTIF seemed to have everything I wanted except for the one thing that I wanted most which was more sonic textures, more pads, more warmth, etc. etc. Most of the MOTIF sounds are very realistic, but not very surrealistic. These new sounds blurred the realism into my own little dream world. I'll make sure to let you know when I get some songs done with em. You guys are the best!
